THANK YOU for your support and your vote in elevating me to the July 14, 2020 Runoff Election for the Republican nomination for the office of Sheriff of Waller County.

I feel blessed by the confidence and trust you have shown in me.

 

The position of Sheriff of Waller County cannot be taken lightly, and I do not do so. I commit to each and every resident my absolute dedication, my 41 years of experience and education, and my lifetime of integrity.

Thank you for your support and for granting me the honor of serving as your Sheriff of Waller County.  I again ask for your support and your vote in the upcoming March 3rd primary. 

 

 I made promises to you: 

  • I promised and committed to increasing more highly visible patrols in each neighborhood throughout the county;

  • I committed to re-establish a narcotic task force; 

  • I committed to developing a permanent and active sub-station in the southern portion of the county, and 

  • I committed to professional law enforcement with integrity and fair treatment of all. 

We have kept those promises and commitments and pledge to keep our county a safe place to live as we prepare for future generations. 

 

SHERIFF'S OFFICE PRIORITIES

 

  • Complete the new CRIMINAL JUSTICE COMPLEX;

  • Operate the new CRIMINAL JUSTICE COMPLEX with efficiency and Professionalism;

  • Create a MENTAL HEALTH UNIT, and Further EMPOWER and provide for all Sheriff's Office employees enhancing the safety and the security of Waller County.

 

  • SHERIFF’S OFFICES have been created throughout the County;

  • SPECIALIZED OPERATIONS UNITS created including:

    • Narcotics investigations team;

    • SWAT;

    • Commercial Vehicle Enforcement additions

    • K-9 additions; and 

    • Criminal activity target team.

  • TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT.

  • HUMAN TRAFFICKING  COALITION;

  • PARTNERING with other counties; 

  • ACTIVE SHOOTER preparation and training; 

  • TEXAS RANGER station moved to this County;

  • TRAINING DIVISION created;

  • AUDIO & VIDEO SYSTEMS in all patrol vehicles. 

  • BODY CAMERAS worn by EACH patrol deputy;

  • ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY capability updates and improvements;

  • COMPUTER-AIDED DISPATCH SYSTEM;

  • DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH ALL FIRST RESPONDERS;

  • IN-CAR COMPUTER SYSTEMS;

  • OPEN RECORDs Requests – New/easier system; 

  • PUBLIC NOTIFICATIONS using Facebook and the Code Red System;
